Do metallic labels work for all colors?
Yes, you can print any color on metallic labels. The metallic shine shows through the ink, so add white ink under the areas you want to look solid and non-shiny.
Full color print on metallic labels
Metallic labels are printed in full color, but the silver metallic base shows through the ink. That gives colors a metallic shine.
Solid colors or metallic shine

Without white ink: Colors get a metallic shimmer.

With white ink underneath: The metallic background is blocked, and colors look solid and true. This is called a white layer.
You can combine both on the same label, for example a shiny metallic logo next to solid-colored text. Plan your design with contrast in mind.
