Decal Materials & Finishes
How a decal looks and performs depends on three separate things: the material (its appearance and physical properties), the adhesive (how it attaches), and the finish (the surface treatment applied over the print). The adhesive and finish options available to you depend on the material you choose, and some combinations are specific to a particular Decal product. This page covers materials and finishes for Decals only. Stickers and Labels have their own material and finish systems.

Finishes
A finish goes over the printed decal material. It adds protection and gives the decal its final look and feel. The finishes available depend on the material, and some finishes are specific to one product.
Glossy Laminate A glossy laminate finish. Available for White Vinyl PVC and Reflective Vinyl PVC.
Sandy Laminate A clear, textured laminate with a sandy, slip-resistant surface. Used only for Floor Decals, which are built on White Vinyl PVC.
Unlaminated No laminate is applied. The color and gloss come from the material itself. Used for Solid Color Vinyl PVC.
Uncoated No laminate or coating is applied. Used for Glow in the Dark Vinyl PVC, and for Polyester Fabric on Wall Decals.
Epoxy A polyurethane resin finish. Used for Epoxy Vinyl PVC / Epoxy Dome Decals.
