How durable are the stickers, and do they fade over time?
Our laminated stickers are water-, weather- and UV-resistant. With glossy laminate they last 2 to 4 years outdoors before they start to fade, and longer indoors. See weather-resistant stickers.
Can I use the stickers both indoors and outdoors?
Yes. Most of our stickers, including vinyl, holographic, mirror, glitter, prismatic and brushed aluminum, work both indoors and outdoors. Kraft paper and wall stickers are for indoor use only.
How do I get a true, rich black on my stickers?
Use the CMYK mix 60, 40, 20, 100 for black areas in your design. You can also ask for "Double black" in a comment when you order.
Can you print Pantone colors on stickers?
We print stickers in CMYK and can get close to most Pantone (PMS) colors. Some shades, like neon colors and certain greens, can't be matched exactly. Give us the Pantone code and we'll get as close as possible.
Why did my digital proof look brighter than the printed sticker?
Screens show colors in RGB, which uses light, while stickers are printed in CMYK, which uses ink. Ink can't reach the same brightness as a backlit screen, so printed colors can look slightly less bright.
What is the difference between RGB and CMYK, and which do you print in?
RGB is the color mode for screens and CMYK is the color mode for print. We print in CMYK, so create your artwork in CMYK to get the colors you expect. Bright RGB colors can look different when printed.
What is bleed, and how much do I need?
Bleed is extra artwork that extends past the cutline, so no white edge shows if the cut is slightly off. About 2 mm (0.08") is enough for our stickers.
