More about shapes and sizes

Can stickers be cut into any shape?

Almost any. Custom shapes work with both die-cut and kiss-cut, as long as there is enough space between elements for a clean cut. Read how to make your own cutlines.

What is the maximum size?

It depends on the product and material. Die-cut and kiss-cut stickers go up to 27.5 cm (10.8 in). Large-format PVC products, such as Heavy Duty Stickers, go up to 120 cm (47.2 in) on one side. See What's the biggest sticker size you can print?

Is there a minimum size?

Yes. Die-cut and kiss-cut stickers start at 2.5 x 2.5 cm (1 x 1 in). Very fine details may need a larger size to cut cleanly.

What is the difference between die-cut and kiss-cut?

Die-cut stickers are cut through all layers, including the backing, so each sticker is a separate piece in the shape of the design. Kiss-cut stickers are cut through the sticker only, and the backing stays whole around it. See the Dictionary for more cutting terms.
